Now that meditation has made it’s way into mainstream society in both practice and vernacular, people are taking notice and looking deeper into the original art of relaxation. But does meditation work as promised?

It’s a great question and in a recent New York Times article, psychologist Paul Condon, along with neuroscientist Gaëlle Desbordes and Buddhist, lama Willa Miller put the question to the test. They explore what was once skeptical and now embraced by the masses and what they found may surprise you.
