Create Healthy New Habits and Change your Thoughts about Yourself…Be Courageous!
Your thoughts become your beliefs that result in your actions. This then dictates your choices creating your life. It’s time to flip your script and change your internal dialogue. Your subconscious mind is more powerful than you know. It must be on your side. Begin now and tell the story that you want for you. Focus on all the good and positive in you. Your new thinking will help you to stop smoking, loose weight, feel more positive and move on in your life. There are no dress rehearsals, so start now!
Create new rituals. Wake up in the morning and be grateful to be alive and look forward to whatever the day may bring. Say “good morning” to yourself with a smile. Wrap your arms around yourself, tapping your shoulders and bringing about your own sense of self-love. Give you a Big Hug! This is a positive, encouraging and supportive way to begin your day. Self Love is all about taking baby steps; taking better care of you. This helps you to change your thoughts about yourself. The more you love yourself the more you will take care of yourself and stop doing things that are hurtful to you. The more you practice your inner dialogue and believe that you are worthy of all that you want and are, shifts and miracles begin to happen. You may start exercising more. You may even stop your habit of smoking. Seriously, there is not one redeeming quality to smoking. It’s expensive, bad for your health, it’s smelly, rots your teeth and it can kill you! So get some support, go cold turkey, change your thinking and your habits, and you will feel like a new person. “I feel great” will be your new motto!
Just the other day, I was with a client and she said to me, “I am feeling happy and it feels really weird to me. I actually felt safer and more in control of my life when I was in a darker place. Does that make any sense? I was a smoker for years and I had no choice but to quit, because I was diagnosed with breast cancer.” I replied, “Wow, I am sorry to hear that. Do you feel better now that you have stopped smoking?“ “Yes, I do! But now I have gained 10 pounds and I’m trying to take that off.” I said, “I hear you and that is very unfortunate, however, this is not uncommon. Most people have trouble embracing positive change when it starts to go well and they are feeling happy and taking care of themselves…because it is, after all, change. Many people have a block and fear of having a sense of well-being and success in their lives. Stop being caught up in your own drama and negativity. It’s old and not cool anymore. RE-program you, and see what happens. You have the control switch.
You must start changing your inner script to YES! You have every right to be happy, healthy and to enjoy your life. It’s time! Don’t you want to be free from all of your bad thoughts and habits? You deserve it! So start right this minute. Change your inner dialogue and take that courageous leap within yourself. You will change your unwanted habits and your life. I swear it works.
